Diverse Ways to Improve Higher Education

The main purpose of my book is to specify what higher educational policies will contribute the most to excelling in academic knowledge, critical thinking, and complex reasoning. I have also expressed reservations about certain classroom endeavors that appear to be an impediment to intellectual development and to stifle a student’s journey toward the love of intellectual inquiry. I have critiqued some university policies that contradict American traditions as Émile Durkheim, the Father of Sociology, had shown how cultural transformations create social anomie and self-alienation. My goal for higher education is to reinforce the noblest aspects of human nature as a means to live productive and fulfilled lives, to boost family values, and to maximize an enriching social order encompassing a culture of moral values.
